Cisco's Jabber app enables communication and collaboration using your Android device.

With Cisco's Jabber app installed, you can see who's online and available for communication, and use the app to communicate with other Jabber users. You can send and receive messages, make calls and attend WebEx meetings. You can even escalate a call into a WebEx meeting if, during your call, you decide you need the full WebEx functionality.

The Jabber app integrates with your Cisco collaboration implementations, whether on-premise or cloud-based. You can seamlessly transition from one platform to another, and leverage all the functionality of Jabber. You can access your chatrooms and use the message logging features to retain a history of all the conversations in the chatroom.

Note that the specific features available via the Jabber Android app depend on the features available in your Cisco Unified Communications installation. Your administrators must enable the correct Jabber for Android configurations for some features to be available via the Android app. Check with your IT administrators to see which configurations are enabled and which features are available to you.
